    • Regularly wipe down the gear with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dirt, hair, and debris.
    • For more thorough cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as they will damage the material.
    • Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue, and allow the gear to air dry. Do not wring or twist the gear to speed up drying, as this may lead to deformation.

*It is not recommended to place the harness/vest/cape or accessories in any kind of machine washer*

Placing your gear in the dryer will void your warranty and can damage your item(s).

For added protection and to keep your gear looking new, it is highly recommended to use Scotch Guard or Crep Spray at least once a month (every 1-2 weeks with heavy use).

    Storage:

    • When not in use, store the gear in a clean and dry place, away from direct sunlight (sunlight will fade materials).

    Avoiding excessive strain:

    • While our gear is designed with durability in mind, it is essential to avoid subjecting it to excessive strain or force. Use the gear appropriately and for its intended use. Do not yank, or violently pull up or sideways on the handles. This can cause damage to the handle and severely injure your dog.

  • Handle Eligibility & Limitations

To guarantee the welfare of service dogs, certain handles or handle heights may not be suitable for dogs with a girth under 26", under 50lbs, or dogs younger than 2 years old. Our focus is to ensure the well-being and comfort of both service dogs and their handlers. We want to make it clear that semi-rigid handles exceeding 6" in height (CB) or 18" in length (guide) will not be made for specific reasons, and the How to Measure section offers insights into why these design limits exist.
